I welcome you in the name of Jesus. This site has been created to offer a place of peace and truth to those seeking the Lord. It is basically designed for those who have not yet made a decision for Christ. But my prayer is that everyone will receive something from their visit here. You may have visited other Christian websites, many which correctly state "Jesus died for your sins, and you must be saved to go to Heaven"
This website endeavors to go further, to answer questions of why, and what that means. There will be a lot of plain talk about Jesus, and salvation here. Music has been added to most of the pages for your peaceful enjoyment as you read. Be sure you have your volume turned up! Or turn it down if it is a distraction.
You will also find videos that will inspire you and offer more insight into the meaning of salvation, eternal life, and the Christian life. But first, I invite you to follow me on this journey as I attempt to do the work that God has given me to do.
Before we begin, You should bookmark this site. You may even want to highlight and print the text as quite a few topics and questions about salvation are addressed here. To get the full benefit I recommend carefully reading the entire site.
So, as my Pastor says, "let's get to the Cross as quick as we can". Let's get started.
Lets begin by looking at a few scriptures in the bible: please note the underlined words: (Romans 10:9)"That if thou shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
" (John 11: 25-26) Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead yet shall he live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die".
(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
(John 3:3) Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.
So, What does it mean to be saved, or born again? For a clearer explanation lets explore the underlined words and phrases in the scriptures above that we just read, those words are:"saved" ,"shall never die", "sin", "death", eternal life" and "born again".
The word "saved" by definition means rescued, ransomed, redeemed, reclaimed, or found. All of these meanings relate directly to salvation. In the Bible the word saved means that a person has been saved from the penalty of sin, which is death. But doesn't everyone have to die? Yes, everyone must cease living on this earth. But salvation provides us with eternal life in heaven. When we truly receive Jesus in our heart and lives as our Lord and savior, we are spiritually born again with His Holy Spirit now residing within us. The old sinful nature is no longer dominant. And we continue in obedience to His command by being baptized with water, which is symbolic of His burial and resurrection. When we freely do these things, we have just received the ransom that He paid on the cross for us, and we are no longer responsible for paying it ourselves. We are set free forever, no longer bound by sin and its horrible affect on our lives. (John 3:5) Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit"
When the Bible speaks of death in scripture as it relates to salvation, death means, to be separated from God. And SIN is what causes this separation from God. And, all who reject the GIFT of salvation through Jesus Christ, remain in the eyes of God in a sinful condition as sinners, separated from God. In the end, EVERYONE will exist somewhere eternally. Sin or sinners cannot exist with God in heaven and are therefore, separated from Him to spend eternity in the only other option HELL.
The Bible even refers to those living without Christ as already "dead in trespasses and sins". (Ephesians 2:1) "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins". So, the plainly speaking; the short definition of "saved" or "born again" is one who has been saved FROM eternity in hell, and saved TO eternal life in Heaven. However there is so much more! Saved also means that the person is no longer subject to the power of sin. He or she, now has the power of the Holy Spirit within them and can now develop a personal relationship with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This relationship enables one to experience the joy of worshiping and praising God, of being in His presence, the peace of knowing that you have been made right with God. Many gifts and blessings come with salvation and are revealed to each person during their journey with the Lord. Salvation gives us the confidence of prayer. I say confidence because a saved person knows that God hears his/her prayers. Does God hear the prayers of sinners? I believe He does, but I KNOW He hears the prayers of his people. Those who are saved, who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. But let's continue with our study of the scriptures.
A more in depth look at the word death in the Bible as it relates to salvation: We've already established that the definition of death when speaking of it in biblical terms as the penalty for sin basically means "separated from God". So, when a person dies without Jesus, without being saved, born again, that person's soul is ETERNALLY separated from God. And, hell is the place where souls separated from God will spend eternity, according to the Bible. "Then he shall say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels"(Matthew 25:41)
Let's look at what happened as Jesus hung on the cross. On the cross Jesus cried out, My God, My God why have thou forsaken me! At that moment Jesus could no longer feel or see the presence of God the Father. The sin which Jesus had taken onto himself separated Him from God's Holy presence. Jesus died a painful, gruesome, natural death as well as suffering the experience of separation from God. God ordained this plan so that we are no longer are held responsible to die an eternal death.
"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). It is certain that Jesus was innocent. He had committed NO sin. His death on the cross was the completion of the work He came to earth to do. That is why Jesus said "it is finished" (John 19:30) He was yet God's only Son, holy, harmless, undefiled, and obedient - God still loved Him. Therefore, in the usual sense of the word as we understand it, God had not forsaken Him.
However, the Bible tells us that “he bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; that he was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities; that the chastisement of our peace was laid upon him; that by his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:4-5). He redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). He was made a sin-offering, and He died in our place, on our account, that He might bring us near to God".
It was this separation which caused His (Jesus') intense sufferings. It was the manifestation of God’s rejection and hatred of sin, that Jesus experienced in that terrible hour. It was this one moment that was even more torturous to Jesus, than the nails driven through his flesh, or the flogging that caused his skin to be ripped from his body. This brief separation from God the Father is the death Jesus suffered as well as natural death. It was the penalty that was due us because of our sins. He paid it for us all. So that we can be saved from eternal death in Hell. God hates sin. And no one can enter into the Lord's presence in heaven, nor dwell with Him on earth when they are sinners. But for us, He made His beloved son who was without sin to become sin, in order to nail our sin to the cross. Are you getting it? This point is the crux of the matter, the point of it all, so you must get this.
In those awful moments, Jesus was expressing His feelings of abandonment as God placed the sins of the world on Him – and because of the foul ugliness of all that sin, God had to “turn away” from Jesus. As Jesus was feeling that weight of sin, He was experiencing separation from God for the only time in all of eternity. It was at this time that 2 Corinthians 5:21 occurred, “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” Jesus became sin for us. He felt the loneliness and abandonment that sin eventually, always produces, except that in His case, it was not His sin – it was ours. And just as He arose again, we receive the ransom he paid only when we acknowledge the sacrifice and ask Him to be our Lord and Savior, and are therefore born again.
What is considered as Sin? Sin is anything that is against God's commandments; Lying, stealing, cheating, fornication, (sex without marriage), adultery, drunkeness,(which includes mind altering drugs) hatred, jealousy, coveting, (wanting something or someone that actually belongs to another person, and wanting or trying to take it from them,) murder, rape, sexual perversion, or anything that physically or emotionally hurts another person or yourself. This includes strife, envy, being unforgiving, and the list goes on and on. Did you know that even when we think quietly to ourselves, " I hate that person", or we visually imagine ourselves hurting someone else because we're angry, or we imagine having sex with someone, anyone, other than our spouse, we're sinning? So, have you EVER done ANY of these things? Some, may answer this with Yes, but just the small ones! Well, you see to God there are no "small" sins. Sin is Sin. So if just thinking a bad thought against another person is sin, how could you ever "be good enough" to go to heaven? Its IMPOSSIBLE! And THAT is why we need Jesus as our savior.(1 Corinthians 15:21-22) For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Because of Adam who first sinned against God of his own free will, we were born with a sinful nature. Basically, we are born natural sinners. Yes, that's right. That's why sin seems so normal to those who are not born again. Have you ever watched a baby old enough to understand yes and no? Tell them to stop touching the TV, turn your head, and they will touch it again. Its natural! It was the same with me and every other person who is now saved. The world system, the news, media, movies, magazines and even our schools encourage most sin as acceptable. This is designed to keep people in sin and seperated from God. But God provided a plan of Salvation. Since one man brought sin upon us all, it took another "man" WITHOUT sin to pay the penalty for sin to redeem us. The only one who could do that was God himself through Jesus Christ, His son.
God loved us so that He provided a plan of salvation for us before we were born Who else could do that but God!? First you must remember, God is all powerful, almighty, He is eternal, He does not operate in the same time sphere that we do. He is timeless. With God all things are possible. You and I are no surprise to God. He created us in our mother's womb. He knew us before we were even born and so He provided salvation through Jesus before we even got here. Every sin you've committed or will commit has been nailed to the Cross. Our God is an Awesome God. There is none like him.
So, we have discussed what is sin, salvation, and how God loves us so, that He gave us His only Son that we might be with Him eternally. Now, let's talk about why some people, or maybe even you, or someone you know are still without Jesus. And still living outside the family of God. We are ALL God's creation, but we are NOT all God's children. Only those who have been born again by the blood of Jesus can claim to be God's children.
Some popular reasons why many people are not yet saved:
"I'm a good person, I never killed anybody, so I believe I'm going to heaven. You may be a good person by "the world's standards"Your friends and loved ones may think you're really wonderful, they may say to others "You know she's really a good person, she's done so many favors for people" ...But that won't save you. And the Bible teaches us that in God's eyes "there is none that are righteous, no not one"(Romans 3:10) But when we receive Jesus as our savior and make him the head of our life, we are made righteous by the blood that was shed for us by Jesus.
“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2nd Corinthians 5:21 Which is why you must first believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died for your sins, and that He rose again from the dead, and sits at the right hand of God "That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead thou shall be saved: (Romans 10:9)
I give to people and help people all the time, I'm always doing good deeds,! So I'm sure I'm going to heaven..
Wrong! Your good deeds can't save you, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
But if you have not received the gift it is not yet yours! Yes, there is a place for good deeds, for the Bible also teaches that faith without works is dead. Good deeds or good works are a result of salvation, not the means to be saved. If you think you do good things now, you will find yourself doing even more when you're saved, and will enjoy doing them even more. But good works can not save you, or make you born again. Only Jesus can do that.
I want to enjoy my life, and being saved & heaven sounds boring
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Heaven? Boring? Impossible. Think about that for a minute. How can God who has created the universe, also create a heaven that is boring? Is the world boring? No, and neither will heaven be. And as for the life of a Christian here on earth, I can tell you from personal experience and also from observing all those whom I know are saved, that living for Jesus and having the gift of the Holy Spirit, which EVERY saved person receives as according to the promise of God, is an adventurous journey.
We laugh, go to movies, vacation, go to family or friendly gatherings, enjoy sports, music, dance, eat good food, shop, enjoy sex with our husband or wives, and so on. In addition and most importantly we enjoy praising God, and worshiping in His house (Church), and in our homes. We communicate with Him in our daily lives, and do whatever work He leads us to do to help others, and we seek to please Him. We still have careers, jobs, businesses like everyone else.
We do NOT walk around in long dresses, with pilgrim shoes and long faces! However, it is important to remember, our sinful nature does not leave when we are saved. We will carry it with us all the days of our lives on earth. But the Good news is that Sin is no longer in control of our lives. But Jesus is. The Holy Spirit becomes dominant over the sinful nature. By His Holy Spirit we are led to do right instead of wrong. We will be tempted, but we are able to overcome temptation because God has made a way out. And when we falter, we are able to come to the father and ask forgiveness and He will do so. Being saved does NOT mean you will never sin again. But by the Holy Spirit we are conscience of sin and earnestly, always work toward living a sinless life. But make no mistake! This does not mean we may practice sin, or willfully decide to sin, with the intention of asking for forgiveness later. The person who does this should question their salvation, and seek the Lord for truth. In other words (Pray). But never, ever give up!
I've done too many terrible things, God could never forgive me! There is no sin that you have committed that is too great for God to forgive. (Isaiah 1:18) Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be (white) like wool. Paul, one of the greatest apostles, was a persecutor of Christians. He tracked them down, and brought them to be imprisoned and some were killed. But Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus, AFTER His death on the cross, and forgave him and made him a great apostle who went on to write most of the new testament in the Bible. Read: Acts 9:19
I need to get myself together first, clean myself up before I'm saved! This is another false perception and you will later learn that most of the thoughts and reasons that we hold on to to keep us from coming to Jesus, is from the Devil. He, does NOT want you to be saved. Satan works through the mind, planting false reasoning in the mind. You don't know it because it seems perfectly natural, it feels like its your thought. Of course! The devil is not going to announce "I'm the devil and I'm planting this thought". That is how he works subtly, deceptively, but none the less real. The truth is, you can never clean yourself up well enough for God. Only the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross, can do that. The only way to do so is to be born again, to repent, and receive Jesus as Savior. Once you've done this the cleaning process will begin. Note: Repent means to change, turn from your sinful ways.
The Holy Spirit of God strengthens you. For some people, all the changes occur suddenly, for others gradually, even years before some behavior and habits will cease. But they will happen. And all the way God is with you, Jesus is right there encouraging you. Salvation as it relates to the gift of eternal life is instant, but the dropping off of many of our old ways, and becoming the complete new creation is a process, longer for some than others. But God's work in us continues until the day we die. We must come to Jesus just as we are, if we wait to "have it all together" we would never come. Every saved person you meet, including myself is a sinner saved by God's grace. Each of us have willingly sinned for most of our lives prior to salvation. I was no different. If lying, would get me what I wanted, I did it. If a store clerk mistakenly gave me a few dollars more change than I was due. I kept it, and told myself, "Hey this is a blessing". When really it was stealing. Because it wasn't due me, and that clerk probably had to replace that money. Sound familiar? But I am forgiven, and I am changed. And you can be too. Praise be to God.
People will laugh at me if I get saved, my friends will talk about me! It's possible. But these people cannot save you. God will lead you to new friends. That is why it is important to put yourself in the company of other born again Christians, or saints as the bible refers to us. God will lead you to them, and He will lead them to you. But you must be willing to step out of your comfort zone. Instead of watching football every Sunday, go to church. God has also given us each other to help us in our growth. You will also find that as your life changes with Jesus, that some of those same "friends" that talked about you, will begin to ask you questions, and may come to church with you eventually, and finally will receive the Lord Jesus as their own savior. I have seen this happen again, and again. It is a part of God's plan. So, you must ask yourself, are these friends worth risking your eternal soul, and the joy of living on earth with God on your side? Besides, if Jesus could endure the horror and humiliation of being crucified on the cross for us, surely, we can endure a little temporary discomfort for Him!
What if I do something wrong and loose my salvation?
Once you are a saved, born again Christian, you are saved eternally. There is NOTHING that can reverse your salvation. Again, it is a gift from God. He does not take it back as soon as you do something wrong. If that were the case NONE of us could remain saved. Some have said, that teaching eternal security (never loosing salvation), gives people a license to sin. But if a person decides in his heart, "Well, now I'm saved and I'm going to heaven, therefore, now I can sin whenever I want and God will forgive me". That person should seriously question their own salvation. (John 10:28-29) (Jesus said) "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand"
Ok, So if I'm saved, I'm going to heaven, but what do I get right now on earth! Excellent question! I'm glad you asked that. First, don't expect everything in your life to come up roses all the time. Salvation does NOT mean that your life will be trouble free. But your life WILL change, YOU will change. Millions of people have testified of how once they became saved, they have been delivered from things that have been ruining their lives Among the many are: Drugs, Alcoholism, Abuse, chronic anger, chronic depression, promiscuity, deceitfulness, lying, stealing, poverty. These are only a tiny few examples. Fact is, whatever your issue, God is greater than it and you. He is able to deliver you. It will be done in His time and in His way. You will begin to realize the wonderful gifts of salvation. Some will be spiritual gifts, others will be natural, or earthly. Only God knows what they will be and you will know when God reveals them to you. The first gift every Christian receives is the Gift of the Holy Spirit.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)
You will develop as your walk with the Lord continues. God takes each person on this journey differently, and yet the same. You will have the Creator of the Universe, the Almighty God, as your Father. Jesus abides within you and is an advocate for you to the Father. And the Holy Spirit will speak truth to you and guide you. (Ephesians 1:13) And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit. God will be an active force in your life.
Imagine the worst situation you could be in, now imagine being in it, without God. That means your only way out is through help from other people, and you KNOW people are guaranteed to let you down. Even if they want to help, people are limited in their abilities. We're only human. But with Jesus, there are no limits. His power is unlimited. You now will be able to bring all your cares to the Lord in prayer and KNOW that you are heard. And, He will be with you, He will help you, and answer you, many times the answer will be yes, and sometimes no. You will eventually see your family and loved ones blessed because of your prayers. There will be times when you will wonder how you should handle a problem, and then, the answer will come. And it will be the right one. That's the Holy Spirit. There will be times when there is no earthly way you could obtain a certain thing you desire, healing, a particular job, a career, a financial resource, even an item you really want. And out of nowhere a way is made for you to get it. People will ask, how did you do that? Or, what made you think of that? And basically, you won't really have an answer except to tell them God did it. This I know from experience. God opens doors that no man can shut.
The answers to your prayers that you receive from God may come in a variety of ways. God has so many ways of communicating with His people. But all these things can only be learned or experienced through salvation, and developed relationship with Jesus. He loves his people. He will "hang out" with you, He knows your prayers before you even pray them. He knows your mind, your heart, your reasoning, your motives, your needs and desires, your everything. Because He is Sovereign. He will open your mind to understand and learn of his promises to you in His word. He will give you direction for your life according to His will. John 10:27 "My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow" me.
You will have the peace of knowing that whatever happens in life, God is with you, on your side to help you, to fight for you, to provide for you. You will have the peace of knowing that your eternal soul is reserved to be with the Lord forever and all the glory that involves. And while on earth you have the blessed assurance that "All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are the called according to his purpose". (Romans 8:28) You will experience how God will make a way for you when trouble comes, in His way and on His timing. And you will see His glory and His love for you when these things happen. Yes, trouble will still come to the saved and the unsaved. But if I must have trouble, let me also have the most powerful source in heaven and earth on my side when it comes. These things are only a fragment of what you receive when you are saved, I cannot tell it all, you must experience Jesus for yourself. He is beyond awesome!
But I am wealthy! I have everything I want, and always will, I'm just that rich, so why do I need to be saved.?
Luke 12:19-20 "And I'll say to myself, You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." ' But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
You may be wealthy and have all you need. You may have all you ever wanted. . It seems right to you to only focus on earthly gains, doing whatever it takes to succeed, no matter what that is. Being proud of all the things you own, and how great your accomplishments. Taking no thought of the things of God, nor any concern about your immortal soul. You may believe that salvation is only for the poor. Please understand, earthly riches have no place in heaven. A rich soul will be cast into hell just as fast as a poor one. But don't misunderstand it is not your wealth that will cause you to perish, it is your LOVE of your wealth!
The bible clearly states "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil". Not money itself, or having plenty of it. Why do YOU need to be saved, even though you're wealthy? My friend, your wealth won't buy you a place in heaven. You can give millions away to the church or to the poor. But if you have not FIRST received Jesus, as your Savior and Lord, if you do not give from a heart that loves the Lord and gives out of obedience to God or a desire to please Him, you will not see Heaven. Your wealth will be left here on earth for another to enjoy after you die, while you being without Jesus, spend an eternity in hell. Plain & simple. And be not deceived to not accept Jesus IS to reject Him.
(Luke 11:23) "He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.
But I know people who say salvation, the Bible, is just not logical! What about that?
Logic applies to humanity, Not God. I will share something with you. I have always been one of the most logical people I know. If I couldn't see it, taste it, or touch it, or figure it out, it wasn't real. I questioned the existence of God for years. But God was greater than my logic and called me to salvation. And THIS may be your call.
Sadly, there are some people that will always find so called "logical" arguments, or wish to constantly challenge the truth of God, of Jesus, with "earthly realities". They will try to put God in a box bound by four "logical" walls. But these people may be refusing to understand a most important truth about God as described in (Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts (higher) than your thoughts." This verse alone can explain so many of the questions we ask. God's ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. That is to say: What is logical and sensible to us as humans, is not always God's way. God is above human logic and earthly ways. He is not bound by logic. He created logic! God is sovereign, He is spirit, He is high and lifted up above all. He is and knows the past, the present and the future. That is what makes him GOD! Its logical that if you loose your job, have no other job or income, and have no money, you will loose your home and become homeless. So, I don't want a God that says': yeah, well too bad, wish I could help, but under the circumstances, its only logical that you would become homeless!. No, I want and have a God who's Holy word says:
These promises are not logical in the human sense! they are divine promises from God! By His word, we are assured that God will make a way out of what seems to be no way out. And God has proven this to me personally, over and over and over again, and is even doing so now!
When you are saved, God has the last word on every subject in your life. Let's say the doctor says you're dying. But while you're going for treatments, you're praying and waiting to see what God will say. Many have been in this situation and are still walking around healed years later. And if God say's you're outta here, guess what! No worries, for you are literally going into the arms of Jesus to experience the joy of eternal life and all its glory. Now THAT is the joy of salvation!
We are no longer afraid to leave this earth, not fearful of what comes after. Because we know we belong to Jesus. Sure, we don't want our departure to be painful, and its natural that we desire to live long lives so that we can enjoy our time on earth with our loved ones; so we pray about that and ask God's protection and mercy upon us. But what comes after leaving this earth brings us no fear. So I agree, the concept of salvation is not logical according to the world, but we who are saved, are IN the world but no longer are we OF the world.
We operate IN the world system, but we are no longer bound by the world's ways, or results. God is not bound by human logic. He is God the creator of all things including logic. So for those people who simply refuse to believe. That is their choice. But it doesn't have to be yours.
Will God save a Gay person?
Beloved, yes He will. Being gay, or taking part in sexual activity of ANY kind outside of marriage is sin. And to be clear, God has only ordained marriage between man and woman. Those who have heterosexual sex without marriage are just as guilty as a gay or homosexual person. So first let's get that clear. So just as others are saved you too can be saved.
So if I'm Gay, what must I do to be saved?
You will do just as everyone else has done. Repent of your sins (turn from your sinful ways), and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You will receive the Holy Spirit, and He will guide you and keep you. You must make the decision, that you want to live your life in a way that is pleasing to God, and not only to yourself. You must pray and ask God to take away any unclean desires. And just as an unmarried woman or man, must control their sexual desires, so must you.
Yes, I know the difference is that straight people, can at some point marry and indulge in sex that they desire. My heart is compassionate toward gay people for this very reason. I've brought this subject before the Lord in prayer many times before the creation of this website. And this is what I am led to write. First, know that you too are God's creation, and Jesus died for YOU too. You are no surprise to God, he knew every act you would perform when He created you. And I believe your first step to coming to Christ is the fact that you are reading this website. I have added an additional page for those of you who struggle with homosexuality and are concerned about your eternal soul. However, if this is not your situation, please continue on below, because your salvation is near. You can always satisfy your curiosity of what is posted in that section later. But first, get your own house in order. Amen? But if you are one of those dealing with homosexuality, please click here.
Will everybody be saved?
Unfortunately, No. As much as it grieves God's heart to see people choose to reject Him, and choose instead eternal death (hell); He will respect that decision. Everyone will not make the decision for Christ. A point I need to make here is this: If you are not saved, it is by no accident that you are at this website, or that you've read this far. Even when you make the decision to become saved, please understand, it is because God has called you to salvation. He has placed people, and things in your path to direct you to Him. But you must make the choice. So, if you are experiencing now, a desire to say yes to Jesus, or even a desire to learn more about Jesus, this desire is given by Almighty God. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me, (John 14:6) and No man can come to me (Jesus) unless the Father draws him and I will raise him in the last day (John 6:44)
So, my friend, if you are weary from all that life has thrown your way, if you are tired of being bound by sin and the affects of it, no matter what that is, drugs, alcohol, self esteem issues, hatred or anger towards others, abuse, illness; I cannot name them all. You know what they are for you. If you're ready to obtain the love and strength given to us through Jesus, and want Almighty God fighting your battles. Now is your time. Or, maybe your life is just great!, not many problems to complain about? But is it well with your soul? Even with all you possess and enjoy in this life, there is more to gain, and even more to be lost. You've read this website. Ask yourself, where will you spend eternity? Even if you've gone this way before, but still believe you are not right with God, or you have not fully committed, did not really mean it, its not too late.
Remember, God knows all about it, about you, yet He loves you and has provided a way out. We come to Jesus as we are with all our dirt, mess and troubles, we give our heart and lives to Jesus, and He will take us, and clean us up and lead us step by step. "Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord, though yours sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow" So, beloved, if you are ready, if there is even an inkling of desire in your heart to receive the Lord Jesus, now is the time, to receive the greatest blessing, the greatest gift mankind can ever receive. Won't you say yes?
